Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cinchfy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Cinchfy provides job posting analysis, resume alignment scoring, skills gap identification, interview preparation, tailored resume and cover letter generation, and related career tools. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended to assist your job search — it does not guarantee employment outcomes.
3. Accounts
You may create an account using email/password or third-party authentication (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Free and Pro Plans
Free Plan: Includes up to 3 analyses per day using built-in AI, up to 50 saved reports, and access to the application tracker.
Pro Plan: Includes unlimited analyses, access to all AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI), unlimited saved reports, tailored resume and cover letter generation, interview simulator, job comparison, and market insights.
5. Billing and Payments
Pro Plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account management portal; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you provide (resumes, job postings, answers to questionnaires). By submitting content, you grant Cinchfy a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not sell or share your content with third parties except as necessary to provide AI analysis through the providers you select.
7. AI-Generated Content
Analysis reports, tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview questions are generated by AI models. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use. Cinchfy is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated output.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service beyond normal use; (c) upload malicious files or content; (d) impersonate others or misrepresent your identity; (e) resell or redistribute the Service; (f) circumvent usage limits or access controls.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and features, is owned by Cinchfy. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service. Your use of the Service does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Service itself.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinchfy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, data, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
